The key-element for a successful business consists in using the potential of data available

Microsoft, through the global strategy and consultancy company, Keystone Strategy, published the results of the first research project extensively, which quantifies the difference between the leading companies in the use of data and those that are less mature in their use (data laggers). The study was conducted by professors Marco Iansiti and Karim Lakhani from Harvard Business School.

In addition, Microsoft launches self-assessment tool Data and Analytics Maturity Model. This is an important first step in supporting companies wishing to assess their own level of performance in the use of data and uncover new approaches individualized for improvement in how the collect, process, interpret and use data generated from the company.
